One of my clients, is the lovely people for Freya foods. The guys who make the incredibly bone broth, which is amazing for supporting general health.

“supporting gut health and digestive issues to easing joint pain and getting healthier, glowing skin. Bone broth is packed with collagen, protein, amino acids and hydrating electrolytes, like calcium and magnesium”.

Well, they have recently launched a yummy milkshake product which they need some lifestyle photographs of. Photographs they can use online on their website and photographs for the social media sites.

One fine afternoon we decamped on a beautiful house in the Gloucestershire village of Poulton to do the lifestyle shoot. Luckily, the house is owned by a friend of the clients and they had just the right kind of family kitchen. The lifestyle photography was pretty straight forward. We had the mum and children happily making the milkshakes together in the kitchen; Lots of fun and engagement etc The models were Jess’s, (one half of Freya foods) with her children, and Hanna (head of marketing) and her children, and they worked great! They could of all been from a modelling agency so good were they at taking direction and looking good.

Most of the photography lifestyle shoot was done using natural daylight coming in from the windows and kitchen skylight with a little added flash fill light from the front to soften any shadows. I warmed the images slightly after the shoot as my camera tends to have a cold feel to it; just to give the images a more natural hue.

We did some portraits of the children drinking the milksakes in the garden and the kitchen….the children hanging out and drinking the delightful freya shakes.
